Jeffrey Domanski

Jeffrey Domanski is a multi-disciplined environmental professional who has
worked in-house and as consultant for public, private, and academic
organizations, focused on resource conservation strategies in the built
environment, providing program and project management; organizational
sustainability leadership; and education, communications, and engagement
expertise. His areas of expertise include the use of science-based behavioral, organizational, financial, communications, and technological approaches to design and deploy effective energy efficiency and other sustainability strategies. He has extensive audience engagement design experience, including education courses (including development of GBCI-approved courses) technical training, webinars, and public education programs.

As the Economic Development outreach contractor for NYSERDA in the
Hudson Valley, Jeff brought community resources together to increase the
economic and environmental sustainability of the Hudson Valley, promoted
local energy needs, linked priorities across regional initiatives - including
the Regional Economic Development Council's Strategic Plan and the region's
Sustainability Plan, and assisted interested parties with the use of
NYSERDA's programs. As Director of Sustainability Strategies at Cushman &
Wakefield, he guided development of corporate sustainability platforms for
the firm and its numerous clients. He was Associate Manager of Sustainability
at Princeton University, and has provided technical and policy analysis
consulting services to numerous clients, including The World Bank, the
University of Pennsylvania, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey,
and as senior staff scientist and project manager at AKRF, a New York-based
environmental planning and consulting firm.

He serves on the nonprofit boards of Sustainable Hudson Valley; the United States Green Building Council (USGBC)-Upstate New York chapter, and the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. Jeff is also the organizer of Hudson Valley Green Drinks, a semi-formal gathering of like-minded individuals seeking to create a more sustainable world. He previously served on the Leadership Council of the Garrison Institute’s Climate, Mind, and Behavior initiative and the Mayor’s Conservation Advisory Committee in Beacon, NY.

Jeff is a LEED AP, received his BS in Chemistry from SUNY ESF at Syracuse, and an MPA from Princeton University, where he is working on completing his Ph.D. focused on behavioral science strategies. He proudly served in the U.S. Peace Corps, and very happily resides in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
