Jensen Adams holds degrees and certificates in stationary engineering, environmental and urban studies, geography, and public administration. He is a member of the USGBC Central Plains Market Leadership Advisory Board. Also, he has served three mayors as a city commissioner with the Kansas City (MO) Environmental Management Commission. Prior to joining the Kansas City Public Library, Jensen was the energy and sustainability manager with the Kansas City Public Schools and has experience in executive leadership with energy and environment focused nonprofits.
