Jeremy Knoll

Associate Principal

Kansas City, Missouri

Jeremy Knoll is an Associate at BNIM with a deep passion for green building and social equity. In his career to date, Jeremy has worked in many roles on a wide range of projects including K-12 schools, historic renovations, high-rise hotels, zoo masterplans and exhibits, office buildings, laboratories, museums, and affordable housing. His role as a sustainability leader has yielded over fifty certified projects ranging from LEED Platinum to Certified, and his efforts have resulted in the development of new Pilot credits and streamlining of certification. Jeremy is the Past-Chair of the Central Plains Community of the US Green Building Council, where he strives to make green building accessible and relevant to all.
Through continuous engagement, Jeremy has held volunteer leadership positions with the local and national Emerging Professionals, the Central Plains Chapter/Community, the Heartland Regional Council, and Historic Green. From championing green building tours and design competitions, hands-on home weatherization service-learning programs, developing education and engagement opportunities, and providing professional resources to natural disaster recovery efforts, he strives to empower others.
Through both his professional and volunteer roles, Jeremy is helping to develop local, regional, and national scaled Climate Action frameworks and networks of individuals and organizations. In all efforts, Jeremy strives to make complex systems approachable, and to enlist everyone in the fight against global climate change.
