Natalie attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where she earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies, beginning her career exploring sustainability services in the food supply, ecotourism, and renewable energy industries before focusing on sustainability in the built environment. Natalie attended the University of San Francisco where she earned her Master of Science in Environmental Management, concentrating her research on embodied carbon reduction opportunities in building and continuing to apply that research into her career. She is proud to have since created Webcor’s first embodied carbon foot printing and reduction program through collaboration with trade partners and proactive materials procurement, and provided direct influence on the development of the Embodied Carbon in Construction Calculator from Building Transparency.
As Sustainability Manager, Natalie manages sustainability goals for operational assets and projects under development in the Lendlease Americas portfolio. Demonstrating ongoing leadership in sustainability, and a value proposition to development teams, Natalie focuses on embedding environmental and social sustainability across urban regeneration projects in Lendlease Americas’ gateway cities, from origination to project delivery. She carries extensive experience in embodied carbon footprint reporting of construction materials, and executing deep “green” integration among stakeholders from project inception through building operations. Lendlease is a leading international property and infrastructure group with operations in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Lendlease is a 1.5 C Degree aligned company. We have set global company environmental sustainability targets to be Net Zero Carbon Scope 1&2 by 2025 and Absolute Zero Carbon by 2040. When not at work, Natalie seeks adventures in the mountains, hiking, skiing, and any activity that can wear both her and her dog out.
