Sarah worked for USGBC for over four years starting in January 2017 and is currently vice president for CSR at Ruder Finn, a global public relations firm. For more than 10 years, Sarah has been helping companies find their voice and tell a more authentic CSR story to stakeholders through creative and compelling communications and marketing programs. Prior to joining Ruder Finn, Sarah lived in Los Angeles supporting public relations for nonprofit, corporate and consumer brands. She's worked with McDonald's, Mars Foods, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Seeds of Change, TreePeople and Uncle Ben's. She has coordinated local, regional and national programs that have focused on issues ranging from sustainability to nutrition and healthy living. Sarah is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and received her Master of Arts in Strategic Public Relations from University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Journalism. She is a D.C. native and loyal Capitals hockey fan.
