Sweata Pradhan is an architect, currently working as Project Manager for GreenShape LLC, a Washington DC based Sustainability Consulting firm.
Sweata manages the sustainable design and green building certification process, coaching and supporting project teams, overseeing the details of documentation, and interfacing with certification bodies such as USGBC and GBCI.
Sweata brings over thirteen years of experience in the building industry. She has worked on the sustainable and energy efficient design of multiple commercial office, educational, institutional and infrastructure projects throughout the United States and India. She was part of the team who helped guide sustainability at the World Trade Center, NY, and developed the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Sustainable Infrastructure Guidelines. She has been a USGBC Faculty, running a LEED Lab program in India for about two years.
Sweata holds a Master of Architecture from Ball State University, USA. Sweata has also co-authored a chapter in Nihal Perera’s book titled People’s Spaces: Seeing, Interpreting, Engaging.
