This guidance document is for projects that are on a shared site under the control of a single entity; for example, a corporate or educational campus, government installation or commercial development.
This guidance seeks to:
- encourage a holistic approach to project management
- define campusāappropriate documentation requirements and capture economies of scale in the certification process
- address the unique challenges and opportunities inherent in campus projects
- maintain the technical integrity and rigor of the LEED rating systems
The guidance document is applicable to:
- LEED v4 and v4.1 Building Design and Construction (BD+C) including all adaptations
- This guidance does not apply to LEED Residential ratings systems including v4 BD+C: Homes, v4 BD+C: Multifamily Midrise, v4.1 Residential BD+C: Single Family.
- This guidance does not apply to LEED v4.1 Residential BD+C: Multifamily and Multifamily Core and Shell. Project teams interested in pursuing campus (master site) or group strategies in v4.1 Residential BD+C: Multifamily and Multifamily Core and Shell projects should .
- LEED v4 and v4.1 Interior Design and Construction (ID+C) including all adaptations.
- LEED v4 Building Operations and Maintenance (O+M) including all adaptations.
