In 2018, Perkins Eastman DC was awarded the
modernization of John Lewis Elementary of DC
Public Schools (DCPS), a school striving for
excellence in both health and sustainability.
Perkins Eastman DC worked with DCPS
leadership to apply the Integrative Process for
Health Promotion pilot credit (LEED Health
Process) to take an integrated approach to
promoting student, staff, and community health
alongside high performance targets.
