Through programming, outreach, and market development activities, we support, promote, educate, and grow the green building industry.

- The state is home to a thriving network of over 119 Georgia-based organizational members, including leading corporations, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Georgia's dedication to sustainable development is evident in its consistent top ranking in the Top 10 States for LEED, achieving 6th place in 2022 and 5th place in 2023.
Led by the volunteer Market Leadership Advisory Board, corporate and non-profit partners, and USGBC staff, USGBC Georgia is part of USGBC’s larger network dedicated to promoting sustainability worldwide. We advance USGBC’s mission locally by growing the influence of LEED and other sustainability-centered solutions offered through GBCI that improve the quality of life in our cities and neighborhoods. Our current priority topics include advocacy and green building policies in Georgia and equity in the Built Environment.
