Market Leadership Advisory Boards

USGBC’s Market Leadership Advisory Boards (MLABs) are groups of dedicated professionals who volunteer their time, resources and expertise to support USGBC’s mission in their local markets. Representing diverse perspectives and sectors, they advise on strategic local activities and initiatives implemented as part of USGBC’s global work plan. They work collaboratively within a regional network of USGBC staff and volunteers to grow USGBC’s local relationships and to develop and implement integrative, consistent and effective local programming.

MLAB members directly shape the future of sustainability in their state, city and neighborhood. They assist USGBC with market analysis; annual work plan strategy; member, volunteer and partner engagement; celebration of leadership; fundraising; and more.

MLAB members are typically appointed through a call to service process in the fall of each year, serving for 2-year terms with a maximum of three terms.
