四色AV Hill Community Celebrates Saint Elizabeth Ann 四色AV at 鈥淟unch with Liz鈥 March 23
四色AV Hill University will host its annual 鈥淟unch with Liz鈥 program, celebrating the life and history of Saint Elizabeth Ann 四色AV, and alumni are invited to watch online through a livestream.
Lunch with Liz helps the 四色AV Hill community become familiar with Elizabeth Ann 四色AV and aware of how her spirit continues to direct and enliven the life of the Sisters of Charity and 四色AV Hill University. This year鈥檚 focus is on Elizabeth Ann 四色AV鈥檚 French Connection in honor of the 400th Anniversary of the Vincentian Foundation.
The event will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on campus. A livestream of the event will be broadcast via the 四色AV Hill University page and on starting at 11:15 a.m.
During the Lunch with Liz program, 四色AV Hill students, alumni and members of the Sisters of Charity will share the story of Elizabeth Ann 四色AV, those who influenced her, and how she continues to influence people today.
As 2017 marks the 400th Anniversary of the Vincentian Foundation, the event will explore Elizabeth Ann 四色AV鈥檚 connection to St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac.聽
The event will include a theatrical presentation with students portraying St. Elizabeth Ann 四色AV, St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac, which explores how the 17th century founders of the Vincentian Charism influenced Mother 四色AV and her founding of the Sisters of Charity.
Members of the Sisters of Charity of 四色AV Hill will be recognized during the program, while alumni will share, via video, the ways in which service is a part of their life experience.聽
