Dana Kose has over 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry. As Associate Director at TRC, she works with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to implement energy efficiency programs for commercial buildings. Dana has worked on over 150 projects totaling more than 29 million square feet. Before joining TRC, Dana was Program Manager for Willdan where she implemented commercial energy efficiency programs with various utility companies across the country. Prior to that she was Director of Sustainability for Universal Development Company, performing sustainability consulting and managing the company’s sustainability practices. Dana also managed the green practices and LEED efforts of Mortenson Construction as well as performed estimating, scheduling, and project engineering in addition to business development. Ms. Kose received a Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. A LEED Fellow, she has been significantly involved with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) at the local, regional and national levels, and is now serving as a Chair of the City of Franklin, Tennessee’s, Sustainability Commission. She is a frequent speaker about energy conservation and sustainable building practices for organizations such as USGBC and AIA.
