Erica Weeks joined Paladin, Inc. in 2024 as a their Director of Green Building Certifications. Erica applies her over 20 years of project management and construction administration experiences to the facilitation of green building projects pursuing LEED Certification and other Rating Systems. She is an avid proponent of green building and evidence-based design. She earned her first LEED AP credential in 2006 and has participated as a project coordinator on more than 250 LEED projects across the US. Erica was one of the first 100 people in the country to earn EDAC credential to help integrate research into the practice of design.
In 2017, Erica was named one of Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence, in the category of Inspiration/Mentoring, for her on-going support of professional education within HASTINGS and beyond.
In 2020, Erica was named a Shero in Courage by the USGBC and in 2021, was recognized as a Regional Leader in the USGBC's Big South Region.
Erica sits on the USGBC’s Water Efficiency Technical Advisory Group (WE TAG), a global cohort of water experts that share knowledge to enhance requirements for water in the future versions of LEED. She is a member of ULI Nashville’s Building Health Places Action Council and is in her second term with the AIA National’s Framework for Design Excellence cohort, developing sustainability action toolkits for the “every day” architect. Erica has also served as technical reviewer for the AIA COTE Top 10 and a Juror in 2024 for the AIA Top 10 for Students.
