Ohio Facilities Construction Commission
When Todd Hager joined the Ohio School Facilities Commission in April 2001, he brought 10 years of high-level and diverse project management experience to the Commission. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Hager enjoyed the cooperative education opportunity afforded and worked at construction management firms in Ohio and Kentucky.
Most recently, he served as a senior Project Manager in the K-12 projects area of OFCC, managing over a billion dollars’ worth of school construction projects including 14 new/renovated schools at South-Western City Schools in Grove City, Ohio and 26 new/renovated schools at Dayton Public Schools.
Previously, Hager worked at the Village of Lombard, a major suburb in Chicago, Illinois, working as a Civil Engineer on road, water and sewer projects. Overseeing wetland reclamation, storm sewer separation and pond creation projects.
As a retired veteran for the U. S. Army Reserves, he had the opportunity to work on road, airport and humanitarian projects in Honduras, Korea and across the United States.
A member of the United States Green Building Council since 2009, with over 25 LEED certified projects under his belt and now the leader of the Green Building initiative for the OFCC.
Hager’s exceptionally strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, outstanding communication skills, high energy level and participative management style will serve the agency and Ohio building owners and students well.
