Manage and enhance sustainability across real estate portfolios

PERFORM assists organizations and portfolios in setting goals, measuring progress against user-defined targets, and obtaining third-party verification from theÌý (GBCI) to demonstrate improvement and progress. As outlined in the PERFORM Program Guide, PERFORM supports various portfolio-level metrics across emissions, energy, water, waste, health, resilience, biodiversity and social impact. For a detailed list, refer to theÌýPERFORM Performance Metrics.

PERFORM complements USGBC’s globally recognized LEED green building system. Whereas LEED certifies individual buildings and projects to a consensus-based leadership standard, PERFORM works with entire real estate portfolios to help set goals, manage progress, make improvements over time, and verify achievements.

For all buildings, regardless of starting point

Recognizing that organizations are at different stages of their sustainability journey, PERFORM is designed to engage a broad spectrum of real estate stakeholders, from those beginning to address these challenges to those already implementing advanced sustainability measures.
