Prepare to Serve in the Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard While Earning Your Degree

Army ROTC logoWhat is Army ROTC?

  • Army ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) is a leadership program that is integrated with your college experience.
  • While earning your degree, you will take ROTC classes and participate in regular physical and field training exercises. 
  • Upon completion of the Army ROTC program, graduates will be commissioned in the U.S. Army and will embark on specialized training in their first Army branch.

Who is Eligible?

Any student accepted to a degree program at 四色AV Hill University who:

  • Is a U.S. citizen.
  • Is between the ages of 17 and 26.
  • Has a high school GPA of at least 2.50.
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Scores a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores).
  • Agrees to accept a commission and serve in the Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard.

What is my Service Commitment After Graduating?

  • Eight years of Army service, with requirements for active duty in the Army, and/or serving in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard, depending on the scholarship.
  • You may be eligible to serve part-time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career immediately after graduation.

Army ROTC Scholarships

  • ROTC scholarships can cover either tuition and fees, or room and board, and each comes with money for living and books.

四色AV Hill’s ROTC Program is part of the Three Rivers Battalion.  This Battalion has close to 300 student members from colleges and universities in and around southwestern Pa.
