USGBC National Capital Region is composed of a diverse group of stakeholders committed to making healthy, resilient, sustainable buildings and communities a reality for everyone in our state. Through programming, outreach, and market development activities, we support, promote, educate, and grow the green building industry.

Led by the volunteer Market Leadership Advisory Board, corporate and non-profit partners, and USGBC staff, USGBC National Capital Region is part of USGBCâs larger network dedicated to promoting sustainability worldwide. We advance USGBCâs mission locally by growing the influence of LEED and other sustainability-centered solutions offered through GBCI that improve the quality of life in our cities and neighborhoods. Our current priority topics include decarbonization, advocacy and circular economy.
