USGBC Northern California

USGBC Northern California educates, motivates, provides resources, and advocates for industry transformation to build and maintain sustainable communities. Together, we respond to the climate crisis by creating and managing regenerative, high-performance buildings that are accessible to everyone in our community. These buildings and communities allow us to live more sustainably in ways we can tangibly experience—our health, the air we breathe, and the water we drink. They offer a better quality of life for all, while also generating a lower global carbon footprint, reducing electricity and water bills, and creating new green jobs.

Located in a region that is equivalent to the 10th largest economy of the world, USGBC Northern California offers programs and hosts events throughout the year. Our initiatives focus on: Rising Leaders Committee (emerging professionals), Building Decarbonization, Water Conservation, Awards & Leadership, LEED Advancement, Women in Green, Smart Buildings, Equity, Advocacy, and more.

Get involved in our local community programs and volunteer at our yearly events. You will get the chance to network with industry leaders and be an advocate for change.

Please email us if you have any questions, we value the generous support and partnership of our annual sponsors and members, who make possible our work as a mission-driven organization.
